A meeting was organised by the teachers and social activists of our district to discuss about the drug abuse and suicides among school and college students. The meeting drafted measures to prevent such habits among them.In the meeting it was planned to prepare action plans on the subject.
AWARENESS created on suicide Prevention among the girl children in schools- conducted by PURA A Forum called Save our Children – Tamil Nadu was formed by like minded NGOs. A programme containing students, NGOs, Government officers and resource persons were invited and gave a toast on the subject. The programme has been continued in schools and colleges.
