SELAVIP FOUNDATION, CHILI has sanctioned 30 houses for the women headed families in the urban area of Kanyakumari District. The house will be constructed with 200 Sq.ft carpet area with a kitchen and latrine provided inside the building. Roofing will be in cooling sheet and the walls with solid cement blocks. We had conducted meetings with the beneficiaries and explained the project components , materials to be used and other provisions. SELAVIP FOUNDATION has insisted in the project for a commitment by the beneficiaries and subsequently the beneficiareries have agreed to contribute their manual labour through out the construction. The project is going to be started on 1st February, 2025, and to be completed on 15th September 2025.
